“Diana and Simon are by far the BEST hosts my family and I have stayed at in all our Airbnb experiences. The kindness and hospitality they offer to second to none. We are extremely glad to have had the opportunity to stay at this most wonderful and cozy property The property itself is in an idyllic setting with sweeping views of the bucolic life that Yorkshire offers. The simple yet elegant breakfast, the stylish and warm interiors combined with the generous and gracious hospitality offered by the hosts, makes this place the perfect getaway for anyone wanting to unwind and experience the simple and beautiful British rural lifestyle. There is no doubt in us visiting Boltby many more times over our next visits to the UK but I urge everyone to give Diana's place a try just to leave completely satisfied and happy”
“Diana's property and the surrounding countryside and spectacular views are a little piece of heaven. There were geese literally playing with rabbits right outside my window, like something out of a fairytale! If you're looking for a tranquil getaway without having to leave the country, this is as close to paradise as you're going to get in Britain. Diana's hospitality was extremely warm which was very much appreciated after a long journey and she even offers a cooked breakfast and other homemade foods upon request. Highly recommend and will be back in the future!”
“This is our 2nd stay at the Studio and the 2nd stay that our children cried when we had to leave. Great setting, lovely views and we'll definitely be coming back.”
We stayed in the B&B while we were doing the Cleveland Way. We’re back home by now and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in all different kind of places and we must say that The Willow Tree Cottage was the most splendid of all. We’d like to let you know that we enjoyed our stay very much. The room is very comfortable and beautiful and the view is spectacular. The breakfast was delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality: for the welcoming coffee and cake at our arrival, for driving us to the pub in the evening, for the great breakfast, for providing a packed lunch.
We would surely like to come back one day.
“It's not often a place is even better than you thought it would be -- and I thought this one would be pretty great just from the pictures, location and description. There were no details left out. The view was idyllic, the location quiet, the amenities and the basic foodstuffs provided ensured my daughter and I didn't have to think about anything but finally taking a deep breath and relaxing. Which we did. In spades. It was such a lovely stop on our too-busy trip around England that my only regret is that weren't staying longer.”
